When my boyfriend, who works on data for Kickstarter, offered to take a look at the mess of spreadsheets and lists that we accumulated making Ideal Bookshelf (nearly two thousand books were chosen, over one hundred bookshelves), we were overjoyed!

My favorite feature is this cloud of contributors (screen shot below). If you move your mouse over the node, you can see what books they have in common with the other contributors. 

The data is skewed very much toward writers, and it’s true, Jane and I featured a LOT of writers in the book. You might say that this is one huge recommended reading list from as many people as we could imagine to ask… Anyway, go check it out
