Cover: The Very Hungry Caterpillar

This is a small original painting of The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

I used gouache and ink on Fabriano hot press paper, and it's about 7x5". It is signed and dated.

I made it to use as an illustration in my book Bibliophile: An Illustrated Miscellany. So it's straight from the drawing table, and may include stray marks and schmutz, or even places where I tried out a pen before using it. Also, the paper may not be cut at right angles; please look closely at the photo before ordering! I am a messy painter, unless I try really hard not to be.
