Ceranimals

New ones coming in September 2026!

For each one sold, $5 goes to the Maui Humane Society!

So I have a particular sort of animal in mind when I make each one, but after bisque firing and glazing and glaze firing, they might not be so recognizable as that species anymore. That is great by me because I just want to make precious little creatures to keep you company! But I do try to list them by what I intended just to make it easier to pick ;)

I use either cone 5 or cone 10 clay, and sometimes make a list of animals I love beforehand.

Here is a little army waiting for the bisque fire.

So many glaze combinations to pick from at the community art center, where they are fired in a cone 10 gas reduction kiln.

I keep track of what works, but really, so much is luck and chance.

I am always delighted by how they turn out.
