Cover: My Year Abroad

This is a small original painting of My Year Abroad by Chang-Rae Lee.

I used gouache and ink on Fabriano hot press paper, and it's about 7.75 x 6". It is signed and dated.

I made it to use as an illustration in my book Bibliophile: Diverse Spines. So it's straight from the drawing table, and may include stray marks and schmutz, or even places where I tried out a pen before using it. I am a messy painter, unless I try really hard not to be.
